This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Journal handles information for the website, purchase, download, and support.
Simple Journal runs inside Quantower on your computer. It reads your trades from the connection you already use in Quantower and does not send any data, trades, notes, photos, settings, or account information anywhere. Your journal is saved in files on your device.
Payments are handled by PayPal. Simple Journal does not see or store card numbers or payment credentials. PayPal shares the details needed to deliver your download, such as your name, email address, order ID, and amount paid. These are used to send your download link, handle refunds, prevent fraud, and provide support.
Your email address is used to send your download link and to reply to support requests. It is not used for marketing.
If you contact support, the information you send, such as your order email, screenshots, and Quantower version, is used to answer your request, verify your purchase, or process a refund.
The website host or payment provider may automatically process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security, diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
Information is only shared with the service providers needed to operate the store, such as the payment processor, website host, and email provider, or if required by law.
Simple Journal does not sell personal information.
Order and support records are kept as long as reasonably needed for download lookups, refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
